Community Guidelines
ShlamaMatch exists so members of our community can meet with dignity. These are the rules that keep it that way.
Be genuine
Use your real name, real photos of you, and real information. Fake profiles and catfishing are banned.
Respect the faith and culture
Members come from Chaldean, Assyrian, and Syriac backgrounds with different denominations and traditions. Disagree kindly. Sectarian attacks aren't welcome.
No harassment
No slurs, threats, unsolicited explicit messages, or repeated contact after someone stops replying. Consent matters.
Keep it 18+
ShlamaMatch is for adults only. If you suspect someone is under 18, report them immediately.
No nudity or explicit photos
Profile photos should be tasteful. No nudity, sexual content, or photos of children in your profile.
Report anything that feels off
Use the report menu on any profile or chat. We review every report and take action on violations.
Meeting in person? Stay safe.
- Meet in a public place — a café, a restaurant, a church event.
- Tell a family member or friend where you'll be.
- Arrange your own transportation.
- Trust your instincts. If something feels wrong, leave.
- Never send money to anyone you meet on ShlamaMatch.
Violations may result in warnings, feature restrictions, or account termination. Serious violations are permanent and may be reported to law enforcement.
